The school was pushed into “locking” after receiving an ominous “threat” with all the doors quickly locked.
Students at YSGOL Y GRANGO at Rhosllanerchrigog in Wrexham said they were not allowed after a warning that was sent today at 2.40pm.
The message to the parents sent staff to warn his parents about the “locking situation”.
They were told explicitly that they did not collect their children because no one was allowed in or outside the rooms.
The message was: “The school is in a locking situation.
“During this period, the folding plate and the entrances may not be installed, the outer door locked and no one will be allowed in or out.
“Don’t get to the school page or try to contact your child.
“We’ll be in touch with more information soon.”
Officers attended school after a staff report on a student threatening another student.
They convinced the staff and the parents that there was no more concern.
The Police Statement of North Wales read: “We received a report from the staff in the YSGOL Y GRANGEUS regarding the threats that the second youth sent to the student at school.
“Officers attended school insurance and are currently talking to all parties involved.
“There is no lasting cause for concern.”
