Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Sued by Model Who Alleges He Drugged, Sexually Assaulted Her in 2003

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in a new lawsuit filed in New York.

In court documents obtained by PEOPLE on Tuesday, May 21, Crystal McKinney says she was 22 when the designer introduced her to the mogul, now 54, while she was modeling in 2003.

In the lawsuit, McKinney claims that after meeting with Combs and an unnamed designer at Cipriani Downtown, she “felt little control over the events as she was instructed on what to do and what to display to others in attendance.”

McKinney claimed that she was instructed to sit “right across from Combs” at the event and that he “publicly indicated that he was coming to [her] in a sexually suggestive manner that continued throughout dinner.”

She added that Bad Boy’s CEO constantly praised her “beauty” and told her she would “make it big one day” as a model. She claims he told her he “had power in the industry and would help her advance her career” before they exchanged phone numbers.

In the lawsuit, McKinney described Combs as “flirtatious” during the evening and alleges that he “charged the plaintiff with alcohol during dinner while repeatedly filling her glass with wine.”

Later that night at Combs’ studio, the model says she was offered weed and states she “later realized Combs had put a narcotic or other intoxicant in the joint,” according to the lawsuit.

She claims she refused to smoke or drink after feeling like she was “floating,” but Combs called her “stiff” and continued to pressure her to do so.

The lawsuit alleges that Combs then took McKinney into the bathroom where he began to force and kiss her without her consent. He then allegedly put her head down on his crotch and forced her to perform oral sex with him. She claimed that after the show ended, Combs returned to the studio. McKinney says she began to feel “physically ill” and “passed out.”

McKinney also claims that Combs “tarnished” her career, and around 2004 she was hospitalized for a suicide attempt after she “began to blame herself for the attack and for sabotaging her own career.”

“Due to the traumatic events that would later occur, the plaintiff (McKinney) stored the unwashed clothes from that night in her closet where they remained in plastic wrap,” the lawsuit states.

The amount he is seeking as compensation has not been specified.

Tuesday’s lawsuit comes less than a week after CNN released footage of Combs kicking, punching and dragging his ex-girlfriend and former Bad Boy artist Casandra “Cassie” Ventura at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. The incident was caught on hotel surveillance cameras.
