Turner was arrested on her own fraud and theft charges, and the Broward Sheriff’s Office confirmed to PEOPLE that arrest and search warrants were served at the Southwest Ranches residence following an ongoing, active and ongoing investigation.

The Florida raid follows a February lawsuit between Ver Ver Entertainment and Kingston, which alleges the singer failed to pay for items purchased from the company.

According to the complaint, Kingston presented “numerous false statements” to the company and claimed he had a “current and ongoing working relationship” with singer Justin Bieber.

The complaint alleged that he was in breach of contract by failing to pay them as agreed after multiple collection attempts in January. According to Ver Ver Entertainment, a judgment was entered against Kingston in 2015 after he received $356,000 in watches without paying for them. Additional convictions came in 2016 and 2022 when he allegedly acquired $301,500 in jewelry and luxury watches worth over $1 million without paying.
