We’re back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the new Disney+ series, Secret Invasion, which made its long-awaited debut on Wednesday.
The six-part film, based on the 2008 Marvel comics, is set in modern times and follows Samuel L Jackson’s Nick Jury as he and a group of heroes take on shape-shifting Skrulls.

While fans can’t wait to reunite with their favorite characters, many were disappointed just minutes after the film’s release after noticing that artificial intelligence had been used to create out opening credits.
Viewers took to Twitter to criticize the use of artificial intelligence and share their distaste for the title tags, which show the shape-shifting Skrulls transforming into the faces of Nick Jury and other main characters. in the series.

One person tweeted: “The intro of Secret Invasion is completely AI-generated?! I feel really bad and a little scared watching it there’s nothing offensive,” while another added: ” Finding out that Secret Invasion’s very weird intro was made by AI only reinforced my aversion to it.”

Others have only expressed their disappointment, with one person writing: “Dude, this whole Secret Invasion AI intro is bullshit. I’m really disappointed with Marvel and Method because of this. .”
Another fan tweeted: “Really, REALLY disappointed to see Marvel Studios use AI art to make their Secret Invasion title sequence. I love Skrulls. At Hero-Clix, I get know to use an army of them. As much as I love them, I wouldn’t watch this series.”
However, not all fans resented the use of the AI-generated opening trailer, with one person defending the show: “I mean, it’s a Secret Invasion. there’s a vibe here. I personally like it because the theme is so relevant. Also, more than that I always don’t understand why people say it’s good at first, but then describe it as disgusting or terrible. terrible after they found out it was created by artificial intelligence.”

Director Ali Selim confirmed on Wednesday that a company called Method Studios was used to produce the AI-generated opening sequence.
“We would talk to them about ideas, themes and words, then the computer would turn off and do something. And then we could change it a little bit by using words, and it will change,” Ali told Polygon.

What is a secret invasion?
Marvel’s new series, slated to be the first Disney+ TV series in Phase Five of the MCU, follows Nick Jury as he takes on a shape-shifting Skrull cell that has invaded entered the Earth for many years.
