In May 2020, Sejal accused Rumi, a producer at the Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) channel, of inviting her to sleep with him to secure a role in a TV show. Sejal claimed that Rumi kicked her off the show and terminated the contract she signed after she rejected his proposal. Sejal revealed the reasons for her removal from the TV show on Twitter, saying:
Two years ago I signed a soap opera contract at PTV with PTV producer Rumi and he fired me the next day just because I refused his offer to sleep with him. I know how they promoted local talent during their tenure in PP and PML-N. Now at least they are making money through halal means. ”
Accused BCCI of match-fixing
In November 2021, during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021, Sehar accused the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) of fixing the match between Afghanistan and India on November 3, 2021 in Abu Dhabi.
