Sejal was born on Wednesday, October 26, 1994 (age: 26 years; at time of death) and she hailed from Udaipur, Rajasthan. Sejal came to Mumbai in 2017 to pursue her acting career and worked in commercials with actor Aamir Khan, cricketer Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya before appearing in Star Plus’s TV series Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji.

Sejal was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his bedroom at around 5am on January 25, 2020. Sejal left a suicide note saying that no one was responsible for her suicide.
Sejal lived with a roommate in a rented apartment in Royal Nest Housing Society, Shivar Gardens, Mira Road.
