Selena Gomez Hits a Fashion High Note with 8 Outfit Changes, Including a Bridal Look, in ‘Love On’ Music Video

Selena Gomez proves that she is not only a music powerhouse but also a fashion icon.

On Thursday, the 31-year-old singer-songwriter dropped her latest flirty music video for “Love On,” directed by French director Greg Ohrel, wowing audiences not only with her songwriting, but also with the eight stunning outfits she wears throughout the video.

From a hot pink feathered dress paired with white elbow-length gloves, a black headband and metallic pink heels to an over-the-top black sparkly mini dress reminiscent of confetti, Gomez showcased a range of retro looks with a Parisian vibe.

The Instagram post shows Gomez reclining on a green couch while filming the music video, highlighting her impeccable accessorizing skills. She pairs a shimmery black dress with a diamond choker necklace, a wide-brimmed hat and black heels.

“Love On +,” she captioned the post.

In addition to those two ensembles, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer delighted the audience with an unforgettable bride-themed ballet dress.

The long-sleeved white ballet ensemble featured a ribbed knee-length dress paired with a bodice. There were delicate bows on the dress, which perfectly complemented the one in the hair. Along with the theme, her white nails followed. She also wore hot pink ballet flats to add a pop of color. (Yes, it gives off the popular coquettish aesthetic.)

But the singer’s glam did not stop there. In another Instagram video, Gomez, who also stars Only murders in the building, shows off the rainbow mini bodycon knit dress she wore while dancing barefoot on the table.

While this might be one of her simpler outfits in the video, that didn’t stop her from adding a little glamor and spice to it. Gomez paired the fairly simple dress with a silver chunky necklace and another black headband that pulled her hair back from her face for a vintage vibe.

Sticking with bright colors, Gomez also turned heads wearing a neon yellow and green ball gown. The draping of the dress exuded floral vibes. Her simple, natural hairstyle and jewelry-free look ensured that nothing detracted from the power of the dress.

Throughout the music video, Gomez transitioned from one color to another. Another one of her combinations gave off an all-blue color scheme. The highlight of this look? Bright blue fascinator in a rose design. The headpiece also went perfectly with the singer’s blue lace halter dress, which also featured a matching flower on the chest.

Gomez also opted for a more relaxed moment wearing a white bathrobe with her hair wrapped in a towel. But, true to her signature style, she couldn’t resist adding a touch of glamour. To elevate the ensemble, the singer added a pair of white cat-eye sunglasses and sparkling diamonds.

The last outfit of the singer exuded Fearless vibes, a tribute to her best friend Taylor Swift. The gold-plated sleeveless dress sparkled as Gomez danced during the chorus of her new hit. She also threw out a pair of white gloves and gold earrings.

Inspired by her love of Paris, Gomez’s new single also makes several specific references to the City of Light.

“Why are we talking over this steak tartare/ When we could be somewhere else but here/ Kissing in the back of the car,” sings Gomez. “Or we could do a memoir/ On the back wall of the last bazaar bathroom stalls.”

Last summer, she gave fans a peek at her time in France while filming a video with Emilia Perez. “Thank you Paris for being my home for two months!” Gomez captioned the photo carousel. “Loved every moment of it. Working on this movie has completely changed my life. I can’t wait to share more soon! I love you all.”

A few months later, she made a splash with BFF Nicola Peltz Beckham in a series of glamorous outfits – including patent leather thigh-high boots and a white button-down mini dress – during Fashion Week. And over the weekend, Gomez revealed she spent “40 hours” in Paris. During the whirlwind trip, Gomez tucked into a croissant, posed in front of the Eiffel Tower and enjoyed a bubble bath.
