Selena Gomez Wears Sexy, Sheer Gown on Emmys Red Carpet as Benny Blanco Blows Her Kisses from the Sidelines!

Selena Gomez left a real mark on the red carpet of the Emmys.

On Sunday, the singer and actress, 31, arrived at the 75th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards – where her series premiered Just the murders in the building received 11 nods — in a sheer, sequined dress that left jaws on the carpet — and her boyfriend Benny Blanco was there to show her support, kissing her on the side in an Instagram video shared by E! News.

Gomez’s moody ensemble featured an Oscar de la Renta gown made with a plunging neckline and maroon embellishments made from 450,000 sequins, according to Eh!’Red carpet stationery, Zanna Roberts Rassi. She paired the flashy design with black heels.

The nominee sparkled even more thanks to her Tiffany & Co. necklace, which boasts a morganite gem weighing over 35 carats.

She also didn’t hold back on her glamour, which was centered around sleek updo hair with face-framing bangs and dark red lips.

For his part, Blanco was always a plus one to support him, wearing a more casual look so his leading lady enjoyed her moment.

On Jan. 5, a source told PEOPLE that Gomez is “super happy and present” in the midst of her new romance.

“She seems to be feeling really good right now,” a source told PEOPLE. “Maybe it’s Benny or maybe it’s just where she’s at personally and professionally.”

“Everyone is so happy that she’s happy,” the insider added, before revealing that her loved ones are “protective” of Gomez.

Earlier this month, Gomez kicked off awards season with a bang in a fiery Giorgio Armani dress at the Golden Globes.

The multi-hyphenated star – one of many celebs who opted for red at the ceremony – dazzled in the vibrant gown, which featured unique details such as an asymmetric hemline, embellished neckline and glittering rosettes.

The Rare Beauty founder kept the look monochromatic with a pair of metallic red Christian Louboutin heels, accessorized with loads of sparkling jewels and a manicure that her nail artist Tom Bachik described as “patented leather”.

With the help of her stunning dress, Gomez had some memorable moments both before and after the ceremony, including a Marilyn Monroe moment on the red carpet, a viral gossip session with BFF Taylor Swift, and a steamy post-Globes smoke with Blanco.

Ahead of her rich night at the Golden Globes, she wowed PEOPLE with her dress.

“I love the asymmetric hem,” she said of the Giorgio Armani dress, adding that “having a neckline on the dress is really edgy and fun.”

Also before the ceremony on January 7, Gomez used Rare Beauty’s own products to achieve her soft glow and skin — which she showed off on the brand’s TikTok account.

At last year’s Emmy Awards, Just the murders in the building the star was a vision in white.

On the red carpet of the 2022 Emmy Awards, where she hosted, Gomez dazzled in a beaded halter dress from Celine, which she paired with a silver clutch, also from the fashion house.

The actress paired the high-neck dress with metallic shoes and green details, including tassel earrings and an emerald manicure.
