Selling the OC Star Sean Palmieri Is Leaving the Oppenheim Group

Palmieri has been part of the ‘Selling Sunset’ spin-off since it first appeared on Netflix in August 2022.

I am selling OC star Sean Palmieri is leaving the Oppenheim Group.

The decision, first reported by Entertainment Tonight , was one that the real estate agent told PEOPLE came “after much consideration.”

“After much thought, I have decided to part ways with the Oppenheim Group. I am very excited about this new chapter in my career and eager to embark on a journey that is closely aligned with my professional aspirations and personal growth,” he said in a statement to PEOPLE.

He revealed to ET that he’s now signed on as a partner “with an amazing, top-notch production team and mentor, Steve Games, previous owner of Prudential California Realty and Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty,” and that their team recently launched with Coldwell Banker West.

Palmeri is ready to explore potential opportunities in the new market, telling ET, “Returning to the serene atmosphere of San Diego County, where I first ventured from Florida to California, brings me great joy. I am eager to explore the opportunities that lie ahead for my business and success in this vibrant community.”

Palmieri was a part Selling Sunset spin-off since the first season premiered in August 2022. The show focused on the launch of the Oppenheim Group office in Orange County, California.

Ago I am selling OC debuted on Netflix, Florida native told PEOPLE he became a part of the show after being introduced to him by Oppenheim Group co-founder Jason Oppenheim. He explained that the two met after he started working around the same group of agents Oppenheim worked with in Beverly Hills.

‘Selling the OC’ shows differences from ‘Selling Sunset:’ We’re ‘alone from the start’

Oppenheim opened up about the drama between the cast in a conversation with PEOPLE at September 2022

“I think there’s just a lot more drama and interpersonal issues between the agents,” he said. “They are in the office working together, but I don’t know if they would necessarily choose each other as friends.”

I am selling OC returned with a second season in September and recently dropped a trailer for the third season. The premiere date of the third season has not been announced.
