Travis Kelce Solidifies His Fashion-Lover Status Ahead of Chiefs-Eagles Game with Throwback Look

Travis Kelce continues to be one of the most fashionable players in the NFL.

On Monday, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, showed up to his game against the Philadelphia Eagles — and his brother Jason Kelce — in a head-turning outfit.

The athlete took a stylish turn wearing a white undershirt and patterned jeans accessorized with a Louis Vuitton brown reversible belt, gold jewellery, gold-rimmed sunglasses and tan patent leather boots.

He completed the look with two nods to his football team, one being a tight-fitting Kansas City Chiefs cap and the other a red Dallas Texans letter jacket — a throwback to the Chiefs’ roots. Before being relocated to Kansas City and renamed the Chiefs in 1963, the football team was originally known as the Dallas Texans when it was founded in 1959.

“It’s a classic,” Kelce was heard saying in a video posted by the team on X (formerly known as Twitter) as the tight end entered. He added: “A little Monday night action.”

Kelce, who is currently dating Taylor Swift, became the all-time leading receiver in Chiefs franchise history this season. Although he is known for his athleticism, he also became known for his tailoring skills. Kelce never misses an opportunity to show his love for fashion.

The Chiefs player is not afraid to wear bold patterns or take risks when it comes to putting together an unforgettable outfit. In the October interview with The Wall Street JournalKelce revealed that it sometimes takes him up to three hours to put together his look before a game.

He also admitted that his bold fashion taste won’t be universal – but he’s okay with that.

“Obviously not every look is for everyone,” Kelce said, noting the criticism some of his more daring kits have received. “I won’t be offended if someone says I look like a clown if I have a fun hat and some funky jeans. It is what it is, I’m going to have fun with it.”

Kelce added, “I mostly do it to put a smile on someone’s face.”

The self-described “impulse shopper” said he turned an entire bedroom in his home into a closet for his clothes and extensive sneaker collection.

He explained to the publication that access to money changed his fashion game in a big way. Today, she can afford to wear designer dresses from the likes of Dior and Jil Sander, but she still likes to shop at smaller, lesser-known brands.

For Kelce, the best part about cultivating style is the fun that comes with choosing the perfect look for any occasion.
