Seth Meyers Shares Gratitude Segment With Kids Ashe, Axel and Adelaide: ‘I’m Enjoying Every Moment’

“Yeah, we were in Washington Square Park and I was walking my kids and you were walking by and you were on the phone,” he continued. “And I waved and you waved. And then you said over the phone, ‘I just saw Seth Meyers and his kids!’

“And my children ask: ‘How does she know us?’ ” he says, making Qualley laugh. “I say: ‘She doesn’t know you. And they both: ‘Ahh!'”

“Oh, that’s really sweet!” adds Qualley.

“Yeah, really cute! I said, ‘She doesn’t think I’m just walking around with two little guys,'” jokes Meyers.

In November, Meyers shared the family tradition of dressing their children as turkeys for Thanksgiving.

“We dress them up as turkeys and they come in here, we film them for about five minutes, and then we edit together a video of them dressed up as turkeys,” he said. “Now at some point the kids will realize they don’t want to do this anymore, but right now they’re still really excited about the turkey scrap.”

“We don’t know when turkeys will stop happening. I enjoy every moment with turkeys, because it’s very fleeting. Like a turkey’s life, you never know when it might end.”

Meyers joked that this year’s segment was even better, mainly because Adelaide was another year older.

“Last year Addie was only one year old. She was rolling around,” he explained. “She didn’t bring a lot of fastballs into play. Everything has changed.”
