In 2015, Shahu Tushar Mane started his shooting career at the age of 13 under the guidance of coach Suma Shirur.
In 2015, Sahu Mane participated in the Divisional Shooting Competition in Kolhapur. In the competition, he won first place and received a trophy for it.
In 2016, Sahu Mane won three gold medals in the Maharashtra Air Arms Competition, a state-level shooting competition. In the same year, Shahu Mane was selected to participate in the 62nd Secondary School National Games and Secondary School State Games held in Telangana and Mumbai respectively. In 2017, Sahu Mane made his international debut at the 10th Asian Airsoft Championships in Japan and won two medals.
In the same year, Shahu Mane participated in two shooting competitions, the Prabhakar Desai Shooting Competition and the Maharashtra State Shooting Sports Competition in Mumbai. Later in 2017, Sahu Mane went on to participate in the 61st National Shooting Sports Competition in Thiruvananthapuram. Shahu Mane won the gold medal in the Lakshya Cup shooting competition in 2018. In the same year, he qualified for the India Khelo Youth Games.
After participating in the India Khelo Youth Games, Sahu Mane went on to participate in the Hubballi Open Shooting Championship in West Bengal in 2018. By the end of the competition, Shahu had won three gold medals and a trophy.
From October 6 to 18, 2018, Saju Mane participated in the Youth Olympic Games, the second international competition held in Bueno Aires, Argentina, and won a silver medal in the 10-meter air rifle shooting event. Sahu claimed that he was not satisfied with the silver medal as he had trained extensively to win the gold medal. Sahou Mane said in an interview,
The crowd was overly enthusiastic and I ended up getting distracted. I did try my best to stay focused, but the cheering crown grabbed more of my attention. I’m not happy about the silver medal at all. I was hoping to win the gold medal because I had been preparing for it for a long time. “
In 2018, after Shaju Mane won a silver medal for India at the Youth Olympics, he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who congratulated him on his achievement.
In 2019, Sahu Mane won the gold medal in the 10-meter air rifle event at the International Shooting Competition in Hannover, Germany. In 2021, Shahu Mane participated in the Sheikh Russell International Shooting Championships in Bangladesh and won the silver medal in the 10-meter air rifle event.
Shahu Mane participated in the College Shooting Championship 2021 in Delhi. He and his team represented Maharashtra in the tournament.
In 2022, Shahu Mane participated in the 55th All India Railway Shooting Championship in Pune.
Shahu Mane and his mixed doubles partner Mehuli Ghosh won the gold medal in the 10m air rifle event at the ISSF Shooting World Cup in South Korea on July 13, 2022. The two defeated the Hungarian team 17-13 and won the championship.

- Sahou Mane claimed in an interview that he loves football. He also said that he was unable to pursue football as a professional sport as his parents did not support him taking up football as a career as they believed there was no room for football in India. Sahou Mane said in an interview,
I want to pursue football as a professional sport. I’m still a huge fan of the sport. But my parents did not support me as they felt there was no room for the sport in India. So I decided to make shooting a career. “
