Shannen Doherty Confesses to Jason Priestley That She Stole Clothes From Her BH90210 Wardrobe

When Shannen Doherty finished filming BH90210, she wanted something to remember the experience by.

Her memento of choice: the outfit of her iconic character Brenda Walsh.

“I thought it was only fair that I bring some of my wardrobe as I was also carrying some of my personal clothes. So I thought it was a healthy exchange. I’m not like klepto or anything,” the actress, 52, said in an episode of her podcast, Let’s be clear with Shannen Dohertywith her former co-star Jason Priestley, 54, who played her twin brother, Brandon Walsh, in the reboot Beverly Hills, 90210.

Her wardrobe swap backfired when she packed all the clothes she wanted to take home into a box, but didn’t seal it before giving it to production to ship. Production confiscated a box containing a pair of YSL patent leather knee-high boots she “desperately” wanted.

“I thought, just give me the clothes. It will just sit in storage somewhere. It’s so silly!” she said. – I’m not the only one who did it.

Doherty also revealed that she had previously taken costumes from other shows she had starred in, including Enchanted and the original Beverly Hills, 90210.

Priestley was delighted by Doherty’s confession. “Oh my God, that’s fantastic,” he laughed.

Doherty said she wanted to wear “every item” in Brenda Walsh’s wardrobe BH90210, which was a confirmation of the play’s costume designer Mandi Lee.
