Shannon Berry was born on Tuesday, July 27, 1999 as Shannon Grace Berry (21 years old in 2020) from Melbourne, Australia. During her school days, Shannon was introverted and had a hard time making friends at school. In an interview, she said:
I did find it hard to find myself growing up, especially at school, and I just had to learn to accept that not everyone is going to like you.”
Later, in 2017, she dropped out of school to play the role of Brody Jordan in the Netflix series Descendants. In an interview, she said:
I actually dropped out of school to do Descendants, so my advice might not be that great! (Laughs) Don’t be afraid to take it seriously. There will be people in your life who will tell you it’s just a dream, and people who will tell you you need to have a ‘Plan B.’ ”
