Don’t be alarmed if you see a shark lurking in the ocean during the week beginning July 23. It’s just waiting for its moment to shine during Shark Week. Aside from their razor-sharp teeth and sinister background music (I’m Watching You, “Jaws”), these fish are far more dangerous. They have been around for 455 million years. Only a few species of sharks lay eggs and they lack bones. One of the oldest television traditions involves sharks. You’ll no doubt want to know how to watch Shark Week in its 35th year. Here is a guide for Shark Week 2023. Please continue reading the article.
Shark Week 2023 Discovery Channel
You don’t need cable to watch Shark Week, despite it being a well-attended annual event promoted by the Discovery Channel. Shark Week 2023 will be hosted by Jason Momoa, who will guide viewers through 20 hours of all-new programming exploring topics like how great white sharks eat and what happens when a shark uses cocaine. The week-long symposium will also explore other topics, such as how we study shark migration and mating behavior and how we tag and track them. On Sunday from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., three one-hour programs were broadcast that marked the start of Shark Week 2023. Until Saturday, the other programs will have the same format.
If a cord cutter subscribes to a Discovery+ or Max plan, they can still watch Shark Week. You can find new and old Shark Week programming on the Discovery+ streaming service, which offers plans starting at $4.99 per month with ads or $6.99 per month for an ad-free experience. The day is free for new Discover+ users.
New Shark Week episodes will also be available on Max, formerly known as HBO Max. Maximum subscriptions cost a little more money. The maximum ad-supported plans start at $9.99, go up to $15.99 per month for ad-free viewing, and top out at $19.99 for 4K viewing.
Many streaming services offer live TV packages, which can be more expensive than a month of one of the streaming services above, but cheaper than a full cable subscription. The Discovery Channel is a standard feature of live TV streaming services, including DIRECTV STREAM, Sling TV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, Philo, Vidgo, and YouTube TV. Ocean explorers have made possible a peek inside a great white shark frantically feeding from the inside of a life-size fake whale. This is your chance to spot possibly the largest great white shark ever discovered in South Africa.
