Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green Begin Their ‘Latest Chapter’ – See Her Engagement Ring!

Sharna Burgess showed off her latest piece of jewelry.

On Friday night, Burgess and Brian Austin Green announced their engagement. Following their news, the professional dancer, 38, showed off her sparkling diamond engagement ring via an Instagram video.

The video was titled “Our Latest Chapter 🥹” and featured six hands stacked on top of each other, starting with Green’s hand and ending with Burgess’s newly decorated left hand.

Between Green, 50, and Burgess’ hands were placed four small hands that appeared to belong to the couple’s children – including their first child together, Zane Walker, 14 months. Also appearing are Journey River, 7, Bodhi Ransom, 9, and Noah Shannon, 11, who Green shares with ex-wife Megan Fox. Green also shares son Kassius, 21, with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil.

As the video continued, a spoken song played in the background. Burgess commented on her post, “Thank you @whitneyhansonpoetry for this amazing poem that beautifully describes this perfect steadfast and strong love of ours ♥️.”

The audio clip includes the poet reciting her original words: “They say sometimes love starts with a spark / And it might be true / But if I wanted love for you / I wouldn’t want fire for you / You see, the fire is powerful / It burns bright and it’s gone / Beautiful it’s also warm, but it doesn’t matter.”

The sound continued: “So instead of wishing you a love that burns, I wish you to love like a river that twists and turns / It changes and it flows it’s powerful and free / That it consistently finds its way back to this / And so like water I hope that your love keeps growing, keeps changing / I hope your love is strong and free / And may you always find each other as a river finds the sea.”

The couple first made the announcement during Friday’s episode of the iHeartRadio podcast Elderly. Burgess shared with Elderly host Randy Spelling that they have been engaged for two months. In the podcast, the couple explained that the engagement ring was presented in a Cartier box.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 The alum explained that he popped the question during a surprise birthday party Burgess threw in June, noting it was “the perfect place to do it.” Burgess revealed that she “never expected it to come.”

While Green felt they shouldn’t share their news via social media, attributing it to the generation gap, the pair had a “healthy” conversation about how to approach sharing their news with the world.

“One day, I said to him, ‘I just don’t like that this is what we’re talking about,'” Burgess revealed on the podcast. “I’d rather live in our engagement and enjoy it instead of obsessing over the right way to do it. The right way will reveal itself when it’s due.”

Burgess and Green started dating in December 2020 and later competed Dancing with the stars together. They kissed at the end of their first routine during the September 2021 season 30 premiere.

Green’s divorce from Fox was finalized in February 2022. In June 2022, they welcomed their first child together, Zane. A few weeks after their son’s first birthday, the couple quietly got engaged.
