Sharon Osbourne Reveals She’s ‘Under 100 Lbs.’ After Using Ozempic: ‘I’m Too Gaunt’

Sharon Osbourne talks about taking Ozempic for weight loss.

The Talk UK host, 71, spoke with Daily mail and discovered that she now weighs less than 100 pounds. after using Ozempic, an FDA-approved prescription drug for people with type 2 diabetes.

It’s one of the brand names for semaglutide — also known as Wegovy — which works in the brain to make you feel full and is Hollywood’s latest weight loss trend.

“I’m too thin and I can’t gain weight. I want to because I feel too thin. I’m under 100 pounds, and I don’t want to be,” she told the newspaper. “Be careful what you wish for.”

“I started using Ozempic last December and haven’t been on it for a while, but my warning is don’t give it to teenagers, it’s just too easy,” she said. “You can lose so much weight and it’s easy to become addicted to it, which is very dangerous. I couldn’t stop losing weight and now I’m down 42 lbs. and I can’t afford to lose any more.”

Although she’s lost more weight than expected, Osbourne still isn’t worried about what critics might say about her new look, adding that she “paid a fortune to try and look attractive.”

“I don’t care what people say about how I look,” she told the newspaper. “I know I look thin and I know everything that goes with it. And I succeeded.”

“I didn’t want to be this skinny. It just happened,” she said during a guest appearance on Piers Morgan without censorship with her husband Ozzy (74) and children Jack (38) and Kelly (39). (The couple also share a daughter, Aimee, 40.)

“You can’t stay at it forever,” she said at the time. “Now I’m down 42 pounds and that’s enough.”

The Osbourne matriarch told Morgan it was “just time to stop” losing weight, especially after struggling with the side effect of nausea while taking the weekly injections.

“You don’t physically throw up, but you feel like it,” she explained. “I was about two to three weeks and I felt nauseous the whole time. You become very thirsty and do not eat. That’s why I say you have to keep these things away from younger people. They’re going to freak out about it and that’s not right.”
