Sharwanand made his debut in the Telugu film industry (also known as Tollywood) in 2004 with the film “Aidho Tareekhu” (also spelled “Aidho Thareku”).

In the same year, he played the role of “Vijay” in a comedy film titled “Shankar Dada MBBS”, which was a remake of the Hindi film “Munna Bhai MBBS” (2003).
