Profession
At the age of 17, he started working out in the gym to gain the physical strength and size needed for bodybuilding. During his first few years of bodybuilding, he suffered a serious injury and took a break from bodybuilding.
He then continued training and participated in bodybuilding competitions with the encouragement of Mr. Universe Yohnie Shambouger. In 1993, he suffered a serious injury to his right hand and doctors advised him to give up bodybuilding. Although doctors advised him to give up bodybuilding, he continued training and participated in many bodybuilding competitions. Due to some personal and professional setbacks, he drank heavily and took a break from bodybuilding. In 2010, he made a comeback in the bodybuilding world and obtained an IFBB professional card. He participated in the Mr. Olympia competition and professional men’s bodybuilding competition in various seasons, and won the championship for the first time in 2018.

In October 2018, he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Salt Lake City, Utah, causing huge controversy. In July 2019, he was banned from competing in the 2019 Mr. Olympia competition after being accused of rape, object rape and sexual abuse.
