Sheen and I had acted together in the TV show Piyaa Abela. We had a great bond back then. We reunited and met again last October. We have a lot of common interests and during our conversation, I found out that Sheen is also passionate about animal welfare. When I told her about Disha’s dream project, she expressed her desire to be a part of it. She even met Disha’s mum at a welfare project we organised last September. Our friendship has grown to a point where I can confide in her about everything that happens. She is the only person I can count on and the way she helps cheer me up, I feel like she is a godsend. We are very close and looking forward to a fulfilling time together.”
