The daughter of legendary villain Johnny Allen returns to cause chaos
She was last seen in November 2021 when she claimed to be pregnant with Martin Fowler’s child.
However, after her previous lies and scheming, Martin refused to believe her – but will she return with the baby?
After Ruby got out, they set up Jean Slater’s cannabis farm as revenge for sending Stacey to prison for a fake assault.
But now the truth will finally be revealed as Ruby returns to the square to cause chaos for Martin and her old best friend Stacey Slater.
Actress Louisa has already started filming in her time.
Speaking about her return, Louisa Lytton said: “I am delighted to have been invited back to the Square to visit Ruby once again and to shed some light on what the past three years have been like for her while she has been away from Walford.
“I’ve always loved playing Ruby because it’s never boring and I can’t wait for everyone to see what Ruby is up to.”
Chris Clenshaw, executive producer added: “I’m delighted to welcome back Louisa Lytton as Ruby Allen.
“Ruby’s departure from Walford has left many unanswered questions for Martin and Stacey, and her return is sure to reveal heaps of drama for her character and everyone involved.”

This return is the latest in a long line of big returns for the series ahead of its big 40th anniversary next February.
Bosses announced the return of Patsy Palmer as Bianca Jackson, Michael French as her father David Wicks.
Next week, fans will be treated to the return of iconic villain Chrissie Watts.
The EastEnders stars who QUIT
MICHELLE Collins has seen her second stint on EastEnders boost her bank balance. Which stars dropped out this year, though?
The Sun exclusively reported how Michelle, 62, was down £20,000 on her company accounts when she agreed to make a shock return from the dead to Albert Square last year.
Her character, Cindy Beale, was presumed dead off-camera in 1998.
But what about the 2024 releases?
Earlier this summer, loyal fans of the soap seem to have noticed Stevie Mitchell “quitting” the long-running series.
It came after Alan Ford had enjoyed just six months on screen.
Bobby Beale, actor Clay Milner Russell also left this year after five years at Walford.
Fans also feared that Martin Fowler’s actor James Bye would “quit out of boredom” due to recent rumours.
In addition, a host of stars have left the BBC soap for Hollywood fame.
One of the most successful stars of the BBC One soap opera is Rob Kazinsky.
He played Stacey Slater’s brother Sean Slater from 2006 to 2009, and starred in the Hollywood blockbusters Pacific Rim and Captain Marvel.
Ben Hardy, who left EastEnders as Bobby Beale almost ten years ago, went on to tear Hollywood apart the following year, when he played the Archangel in X-Men: Apocalypse.
He has since played Roger Taylor in the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody and starred in Michael Bay’s Netflix film 6 Underground.
Michelle Ryan played Zoe Slater until 2005.
She played the lead role in the short-lived American series Bionic Woman from 2007 to 2008.
She will hit the screens from Monday and should cause chaos in the soap opera.
Actress Tracy-Ann Oberman is back for a brief role as Chrissie, which is shrouded in mystery but airs next week.
