SHEFFIELD UNITED’s match against Tottenham Hotspur was stopped in the 16th minute due to a medical emergency in the crowd.
The fans alerted the staff to the ongoing medical emergency which led to the players being taken off the pitch.

Referee Andy Madley stopped the game to bring the players onto the pitch to allow medical staff to attend to fans in distress.
Play was paused for three minutes while the players received instructions from manager Ange Postecoglou and Chris Wilder.
The match resumed in the 19th minute, and the fan was assisted by the medical staff.
The incident happened shortly after Dejan Kulusevski opened the scoring for Spurs in the 14th minute.
The goal came midway through the game after Sheffield United started the better of the two teams.
Sheffield United entered the game bottom of the Premier League table and have already been relegated.
Tottenham went on to win 3-0.
The result meant that Spurs beat rivals Chelsea to finish fifth in the league.
With the victory, the Lilywhites confirmed their place in the Europa League.

Postecoglou experimented with his front three for the game, with Kulusevski playing in the middle rather than Son Heung Min.
It seemed to work when Kulusevski scored the second goal.
