James Lafferty’s shirtless photos could be causing heat on social media – and his ex One Tree Hill Costars wish he had warned them!
The It’s great for everyone star, 38, posted images from a campaign he did with American Eagle on Instagram on Saturday, May 18, showing the actor shirtless at the gym in boxer shorts and posing with basketballs.
“It’s the oldest story in the world… Back on the field in AE 24/7. @americaneagle #AEPartner,” Lafferty captioned the post, prompting humorous reactions from his former co-stars on the hit teen drama.
“What the hell is this a thirst trap?!?!?! James!!!!!!! Good God. Put a warning on things like this,” Hilarie Burton, who played Lafferty’s high school girlfriend and eventual sister-in-law on the show, they wrote in the comment of the post.

“Bro, you need to alert the internet when you drop something like this!” commented Sophia Bush, whose OTH character, Brooke Davis, once got involved with his character, Nathan Scott.
Bryan Greenberg, who played Nathan’s basketball teammate Jake Jagielski on the show, wrote: “Damn kid! 😤.”
Bethany Joy Lenz, who played Lafferty’s on-screen wife Haley James Scott for many years on the show, did not appear for comment. However, Lafferty’s real-life wife, Alexandra Park, posted a long line of emojis including an “SOS” sign, a monkey closing its eyes and a woman raising her hand.

“Get it stud 💪🏻,” wrote Robert Buckley, who played Nathan’s agent Clay Evans on the show.
Meanwhile, Stephen Colletti — who played Chase Adams OTH and continued to act with Lafferty Everyone is doing great — he called his friend a “beast” in the comments, adding a string of emojis: “🔥🏋🏻🔥.”

OTH aired on the CW from 2003 to 2012, and Lafferty played Nathan for all nine seasons.
The cast of the series remained close over the years and have since worked together on other series and TV movies. Many of the cast reunited in 2023 in Wilmington, North Carolina — where the show was filmed — to celebrate the 20th anniversary.
