She began making jewelry as a way to express herself at a young age. In 1985, she began working as a makeup artist for the pornographic video Treasure Box. Before entering Hollywood, she worked as a makeup artist in pornographic films such as Little Muffy Johnson (1985), Matrina Vee (1985), Breaking the Door (1986), and Living Doll (1987). She began her career in Hollywood as an assistant makeup artist in the film Body Slam (1986).
She worked as a makeup artist on the films 1969 (1988), The Traitor (1989), Bad Influence (1990), The Day Before Destruction (1991), Frankie & Johnny (1991), The Finest Hour (1992), Vanishing (1993), and Ghost in the Machine (1993).
