Sheryl Crow Apologizes for Missing Zach Bryan Show Due to 'Scheduling Issues,' Says She Informed Singer in March

Sheryl Crow wasn’t about to leave her fans high in Atlanta.

The “Soak Up the Sun” singer was originally scheduled to open for Zach Bryan’s Quittin Time Tour at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on August 10 and 11, but ended up pulling out of the show — though fans may not have been properly informed, as she later told.

“I’m so sorry to those who bought tickets to watch me open for Zach Bryan at @mercedesbenzstadium this weekend and were disappointed I wasn’t there,” Crow, 62, wrote in an Aug. 12 Instagram Story post.

Crow was announced as one of the opening acts for the Atlanta concerts in August 2023 alongside fellow musician Levi Turner, who eventually opened the shows with Ole 60.

The “All I Wanna Do” singer is currently opening Pink’s Summer Carnival 2024, and her first tour date was Aug. 10 at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis. Louis.

Bryan’s tour, however, was not without special guests. During his Aug. 7 performance at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Bruce Springsteen appeared on stage to perform his 1982 song “Atlantic City” with the country star, as well as their collaboration, “Sandpaper.”

Also at the Aug. 7 show, Bryan was joined onstage by The Lumineers to sing their 2023 duet “Spotless,” before the band, Springsteen and comedian Shane Gillis joined forces to close the show with Bryan’s “Revival” from in 2020

The Quittin Time Tour continues through December with shows across the United States and Canada.
