After working as an assistant to director Kamal for about 9 years, he started acting in the Malayalam film “Khaddama” in 2011. In 2014, he made his debut in a lead role in the Malayalam comedy film “Ithihasa”. The movie “Who” (2018) is an international film from Kerala that was screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in 2018.

Charged with Possession of Drugs
Shine Tom Chacko was arrested along with four other women on suspicion of drug possession. The case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Police seized 10 grams of cocaine worth Rs 10 lakh from the international market. They were caught taking drugs at a party at an apartment in Kadavantra. A woman had seven grams of cocaine on her person. However, the court granted them bail on seven different conditions. The conditions include appearing before the inquiry every Monday and Thursday for six months, surrendering the passport to a lower court, obtaining court permission to leave Kerala, providing residence details and being questioned if required. They are strictly warned to adhere to the conditions as any breach will result in bail being cancelled.
