Profession
In 2012, he started practicing cricket while he was in school. He started out as a gully cricketer and later became the fastest bowler in the cricket team of his school, Sardar Patel School. He then became the vice-captain of the school cricket team. Shivam then went to the Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi for further training. He was selected for the Delhi Under-11 cricket team and continued to play for the Under-16 cricket team from 2013 to 2014. He retired from cricket and his dream of playing for the Indian cricket team was shattered when he tore his ligament in 2015. He then decided to start SDAF – School Games and Events Development Foundation to support and inspire budding athletes to pursue their sporting careers. SDGAF is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of students in the field of athletics. Later, the organization was recognized by TAFISA, IAKS, and ICSSPE. He is associated with various sports federations at national and international levels. He has helped many children achieve their sports goals. Later, Shivam took interest in pistol shooting and won the first international shooting award in Bangladesh.
