Jyoti Rajput, better known as Shivjyoti Rajput, is an Indian actress and model. She rose to fame for her role as Kainaat Alqaazi née Sahani in ALTBalaji’s web series Bebaakee (2020).

After completing her studies, Shivjyoti studied at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi, pursuing a degree in Global Trade Logistics and Supply Chain Management. She then studied business management at Jagan Institute of Management in Rohini, Delhi. Thereafter, she did an MBA in Marketing from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. While in college, Shivjyoti was the favorite student of almost all the professors and was awarded the title of “Miss Popular” on her graduation day.

Shivjyoti started her career in 2013 as a Business Development Executive at Head Field Solutions Private Limited, an employment agency in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. She worked there for about a year and then joined Mudpie India Communications Private Limited in Gurgaon as an Account Executive. After changing several jobs, Shivjyoti started working as a relationship manager at IndusInd Bank, New Delhi. When Shivjyoti was working in a bank, one day she accompanied a friend to audition for an advertisement. After arriving at the venue, she decided to audition as well (just for fun). Apparently, the ad makers liked her performance and chose her for a TV commercial. Subsequently, she shot advertisements for many leading brands such as Maybelline New York, Victoria’s Secret, Angel Josephine Skriver, Biba, Head and Shoulders, Dollar, Google Pixel, Samsung Gear Watch, Samsung Refrigerator and Harpic.
She has also appeared in print ads for brands like Titan Eye-Plus and Bikanervala. At the same time, she continued to audition for movies.

As a model, Shivjyoti has worked with Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Sushant Singh Rajput and Karen Kher (Kirron Kher) and many other popular Bollywood actors shared the stage.

- In an interview, while talking about her preparation for the role of ‘Kainaat Alqaazi’ in ALTBalaji’s ‘Bebaakee’, Shivjyoti said:
This was my first gig and it was important to prepare for the role. That said, I had very little time on my hands since I was the last person on the show. To catch up, I took a week from the production team and watched several Muslim-centric shows where the characters spoke Urdu to get up to speed. It is very important to do this and get the accent of the show as this is one of the main essences of Bebaakee. If I hadn’t mastered Kainat’s mannerisms, it would have ruined the vibe. Kainaat is both a Punjabi and a Muslim girl, so I had to strike a perfect balance between saying “Haanji papaji” on one side and “Ammi” on the other. Watching these shows helps me a lot! “
