I’M A Celebrity fans have hit out at the show for allowing Alan Halsall to appear on tonight’s BushTucker trial.
The Coronation Street star, 42, went up against McFly’s Danny Jones and Radio 1 presenter Dean McCullough in the Rank Bank challenge.

But some fans were quick to say that the soap star should have been exempted from this trial because he is a vegetarian.
The grim task involved the boys emptying a box full of raw pig testicles into their mouths, after which they dug out the fish’s eyes with their fisheyes and stuffed the fish’s guts into their mouths.
One viewer wrote: “Poor Alan gets this for being a vegetarian.”
Another posted: “Oh yeah! I forgot about that. Kudos to him! I’m not a vegetarian but no, I could never do this.”
A third said: “Given that Alan is a vegetarian, he is absolutely destroying this trial.”
That person asked, “Isn’t Alan a vegetarian?”, followed by a sick emoji.
This viewer shared: “Wait Alan is a vegetarian so how the hell is he doing this trial?”
Another added: “Dean said he can’t when Alan is a literal vegetarian.”
Ant and Dec explained that they would be competing in four races to win money for their team’s bank accounts.
First place would receive $300, second place $200 and third place $100.

The first deposit box containing raw pig testicles, Dean, Alan and Danny learned that they would have to empty their deposit box within the time limit using only their mouths.
Danny and Alan were even, and Danny just kicked Alan to the goal post and won $300 for the orange team and Alan $200 for the blue team.
Dean didn’t complete the task within the time limit, so he collected $0.
Then the teams had to compete to remove 3 coins from a fish gut storage box using only their mouths.
Alan won first place and Danny and Dean battled for second place.
Dean took second place with $200, but Danny just missed the time limit, picking up his third coin 5 seconds after the klaxon sounded, meaning he earned $0.
In the third race, they were told to watch their finances, as Ant and Dec discovered they would have to squeeze the fish eye juice into a drinking glass and fill it up to the red line.
As Dean said of the fish guts, “It’s all in my veneers!”
For the fourth and final race, Dean, Alan and Danny had to stick their hands into a hellhole full of creatures to unscrew three coins as quickly as possible.
Alan was first winning an extra $300, Dean second $200, and Danny just missed finishing in time, so he won nothing.
In the end, the blue team won with $1,100, while the pink and orange teams tied with $500 each.
