Shreedhar Dubey is an Indian actor, casting director and writer. In December 2022, he played the role of Indian educator Alakh Pandey (Physics Wallah) in the web series “Physics Wallah” on Amazon Mini TV.

Shreedhar Dubey, also spelled Shree Dhar Dubey or Shriidhar Dubey, was born in Banaras (now Varanasi), Uttar Pradesh. His parents are from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, he attended BSNV Inter College (Intermediate) and Ramadhin Singh Inter College (High School). In school, he used to enjoy studying Hindi and Sanskrit subjects. He then pursued his bachelor’s degree in commerce from Shri Jai Narain Misra Postgraduate College (KKC), Lucknow. While in college, Dubey actively participated in NCC and NSS training camps, but later left NCC because he could not generate interest in NCC. As part of the National Service programme, he participated in various nukkad natak activities. In 2001, he attended a month-long acting workshop at drama school Bhartendu Natya Academy. He subsequently acted in various plays. In an interview, he shared how he started acting in theatre. He said,
I studied at Ramadhin Singh Inter College, KKC, KKV and Lucknow University. I got NCC C certificate because I wanted to join the army but couldn’t. During the R-Day camp, a talented cadet named Neeraj impressed me so much that he suggested me to join theater. So I came to Bhartendu Natya College (in 2001) for a seminar and it changed my life. “
