Sienna Miller Shares Inside Glimpse of Her ‘Babymoon’ in the Maldives: 'It Was Astounding'

Sienna Miller shares details of her dream “babymoon” in the Maldives.

The actress, 42, who shares daughter Marlowe, 11, with ex Tom Sturridge, welcomed her second child, a girl (her first with boyfriend Oli Green) in January.

In an interview with a British newspaper Time in an article published on May 19, Miller shared the inside details of her ‘baby moon’ that took place in late 2023.

The 21 Bridges star told the outlet that despite finding the word “babymoon” irritating, she has also “always loved the idea.”

Miller, who was about 32 weeks pregnant at the time, spent a week at the Soneva Fushi resort with Green.

The star also revealed her travel outfit consisted of compression socks and “something cashmere,” thanks to her best friend’s mom who told her she “never travels without a piece of cashmere, so I always have a scarf or a wrap.”

When the couple arrived at the airport in the Maldivian capital, Malé, Miller was greeted by a lounge that had a chocolate counter as well as an ice cream stand.

“For a pregnant woman who has just come from an overnight flight, this is the breakfast of champions,” she told za Time.

Meanwhile, Miller and Green’s resort accommodation was located on the water with a picturesque view of green palm trees.

“There are no words to describe how beautiful the Maldives are,” she told the outlet. “We were in one of those water villas over the sea, and it was stunning; I always wanted to stay in one.”

She added that the staff wrote “Welcome to your babymoon” on the sign and presented them with a cake baked in the shape of a baby.

The couple also had their own terrace with a swimming pool and an observation deck on the roof.

“Because I was pregnant I couldn’t do some things — we had a waterslide that went into the ocean, which I wasn’t allowed to go down (that would be fun; I love waterslides), but Oli did,” she said.

“One morning we had breakfast in a kind of tree house in the jungle which is one of the restaurants in the resort. Oli came on the zip line, which was hysterical. In the meantime, I had to take the stairs, which was actually quite a pain.”

“In addition to having the best massage of my life, we did a customized hypnobirthing class with a doula,” Miller added of the trip, during which she traded her maternity clothes for bikinis, sarongs and kaftans. “He focused on how to manage the birth together as a couple.”

Since welcoming her second baby, Anatomy of a Scandal the actress was seen on several occasions. She attended the world premiere of the film Horizon: An American Saga with Marlowe and Green at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival on May 19, as well as the 2024 Met Gala earlier this month.

This came after she made her first post-baby appearance at the Chloé show during Paris Fashion Week just over a month after giving birth.
