Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens’ dream house may not be finished yet, but they’re already making it a home!
On Saturday, Aug. 31, the Olympic gymnast, 27, and the Chicago Bears safety, 29, cuddled up for a selfie in what appeared to be a mirror-covered ceiling in their under-construction Texas home they were working on. last year.
Biles, who posted a selfie on her Instagram Stories, also shared another look at the ongoing project — a photo of Owens standing in front of a black marble fireplace, over which she wrote a sweet message.

“Building our dream home 🥹,” she captioned a snap of herself holding hands with the NFL player.
“I’m so happy to be doing this thing called life with you 💋,” Biles added.

On Thursday, August 22, Biles shared a video to give a sneak peek at the waterfront residence’s nearly completed kitchen.
“I’m so excited to make this house a HOME… for a few more months :),” she captioned the clip, in which she walked around the couple’s monochrome kitchen with black and white marble countertops and white cabinets.
On the same day, the professional gymnast also shared a list of her post-kitchen chores. Along with a selfie in the mirror, she wrote: “Home meetings all day.”
She then revealed on the list what the meetings were about – everything from landscaping and pool plans to audio and security for a house in Texas.

Biles is giving her followers an inside look at her and Owens’ home building journey since last summer, starting from the ground up.
The first post came in early September 2023, when she posted a photo of just a wooden frame and concrete floors and wrote: “Loading… 🏠🤍🛠.”

Along with the construction milestones, Biles also kept real about the obstacles the couple faced. “I can’t handle it anymore,” she wrote on an Instagram Stories post in November 2023, revealing that a few unexpected problems arose during the “grooming walk.”
“I was here yesterday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m….🥴”, she wrote via a home video. “I thought it was going to take 30 minutes, and I had no idea what I was getting into.”

Biles and her soccer player boyfriend began work on their “dream home” shortly after tying the knot in a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas in May 2023 — though they officially tied the knot on April 22, 2023, at the Harris County Courthouse in Houston .
The couple officially met through the dating app Raya in March 2020 and got engaged in February 2022.
