SIMONE Biles failed to win a fourth gold medal as her Olympic Games ended on Monday after a series of mistakes and a bizarre row with fans.
The 27-year-old’s day started badly with a fall on beam before a mistake on floor prevented her from winning gold again in her signature event.

The beam final kicked off Biles and Co.’s final day. in the Bercy Arena, where she was apparently frustrated by some members of the audience.
Biles was heard on television saying something to the crowd.
“Stop being silent, why are they being silent,” the American gymnast seems to have said.
Biles followed American teammate Suni Lee and two others to slide off the beam on Monday.
During Lee’s routine, the six-time Olympic medalist fell after a back three.
After jumping back and finishing her routine, Biles was quick to cheer her teammate on the sidelines, telling her, “It was so good though!”
Later, Biles also fell off the beam during her exercise after losing her balance.
Clearly frustrated, she re-set the beam and finished her routine nicely before quickly leaving the floor.
Both Americans received scores of 13.100 for their performances, leaving them out of medal position.
Biles previously won bronze in Tokyo and Rio de Janeiro on beam.

Lee was the gold medalist at the 2022 NCAA National Championships in that event.
It was the USA’s first failure to finish on the podium in the women’s beam final at the Olympics since 2000.
Italy’s Alice D’Amato won gold in Paris, China’s Yaqin Zhou was second, and Italy’s Manila Esposita third.
D’Amato’s victory was a historic moment for Italy, as she became the first woman to win Olympic gold in gymnastics.
A STEP TOO FAR
Later, Biles returned to action at Bercy Arena in the floor final – her signature event.
Unfortunately, Biles landed out of bounds during her event, with a score of 14.133 that put her out of contention for the gold medal.
‘Mother Hen’ Biles
Simone Biles’ first trainer, Aimee Boorman, exclusively told US Sun that she thinks Biles will be encouraged by her new role this year.
“Having younger teammates benefits her because she jumped in like a mother hen,” Aimee said.
“And that’s why she has to tell them to keep calm. You’ve got this. You’re prepared. As she says it, she hears it.
“You always have tiny kids that come to the gym, but they’re never as hyped as Simone,” she said.
“I know she was very aware of that growing up. But from a coaching perspective, it was great.
“I didn’t think that Simone would immediately be an athlete with more gold medals.
“But she stood out because she was very petite but very muscular.”
Her performance was remarkable though considering that during the warm-up it looked like she fell on landing before her calf was heavily wrapped around her side.
A win in either event would be Biles’ fourth gold at the Paris Olympics.
Biles finished with silver on floor, while teammate Jordan Chiles won bronze after a prompt dropped her from fourth place in the final minute.
Chiles burst into tears after her third place finish was confirmed – the first time she had won an individual Olympic medal.
Brazilian Rebeca Andrade won her first gold at the Games, becoming her country’s most decorated Olympian.
She won gold in the team and individual all-around last week.
And on Saturday, Biles added gold to her vault to make it three in Paris.

TIME OUT?
The 27-year-old could still compete on home soil at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Her first coach feels that she is enjoying her role on this team as she is one of the oldest participants.
“Having younger teammates benefits her because she’s stepped in like a mother hen,” Aimee Boorman told The US Sun.
“And that’s why she has to tell them to keep calm. You’ve got this. You’re prepared. As she says it, she hears it.
“I think she’s definitely in a better place mentally. I can see it in her eyes.”
After winning her final medal at the 2024 Olympics, Biles spoke with NBC where — while declining to discuss her future — she opened up about what she believes she still has to achieve.
“Nothing. Relax,” she said before she couldn’t hold back her laughter anymore.
As for her decision not to retire from the sport in the past, Biles said she’s “definitely glad I didn’t.”
“He provided me with a safe environment. He provided me with the proper therapy that I needed. So I’m very happy that I didn’t stop.”
