On Monday, August 12, the 27-year-old gymnast — who took home three gold medals and one silver during her time in the French capital — shared several Instagram stories about celebrating her big win at L’Arc Paris nightclub. closing ceremony the night before.

“If you see me out at the club please tell me I’m going home in the morning for me and my health,” Biles wrote, adding a crying and laughing emoji.
Biles then posted a photo of a pool in front of an orange sky, captioning it “Home” and adding a teary-eyed emoji.
I’ve never been so happy, she wrote while sharing a selfie from her bed.

Biles’ announcements come after she had the honor of carrying the Olympic flag during Sunday’s closing ceremony.
The athlete, who was wearing a boot as a precaution, walked onto the stage at the Stade de France and joined Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass as musician HER performed the US national anthem. The song led to the much-anticipated moment of the night when Tom Cruise soared into the audience.

“What an honor. I can’t find the right words to describe my Olympic experience, it was a whirlwind… but I know, I will be forever grateful to represent the United States,” she added.

Cruise, who was presented with the Olympic flag by Biles amid the event’s transition to the 2028 Los Angeles Games, commented on the post: “Simon, it was an absolute honor to receive the Olympic flag from you this weekend.
