Agents of the Oppenheim Group rekindles old feuds (and welcomes a new cast member) in the highly anticipated eighth season Selling Sunset.
PEOPLE got an exclusive first look at the trailer for the eighth season of the hit Netflix reality series, which returns on Sept. 6, and it looks like Los Angeles agents are going all out when it comes to the highly competitive real estate scene.
As the agents also prepare to welcome new cast member Alanna Whittaker this season, a particularly jaw-dropping scene in the trailer revolves around the long-running feud between returning agents Bre Tiesi and Chelsea Lazkani.

“I heard something…about Chelsea’s husband,” the friend is seen telling Tiesa, who then covers her mouth with her long red fingernails in shock. The scene cuts to an equally surprised Chrishell Stause, who gasps and says, “No…”
The dramatic moment is a clear reference to Lazkani’s unexpected divorce filing from her seven-year marriage, Jeff Lazkani, in March 2024. Since Jeff was featured in the reality series in previous seasons, many fans are eager to find out exactly what happened between the exes.

A shot of Tiesa walking confidently to meet Chelsea at a restaurant plays on screen as she says in the background, “They say don’t shoot the messenger…she’ll shoot me for sure,” referring to Chelsea.
With tears in her eyes during the confessional-style clip, Chelsea then says: “I don’t want to do it. I can’t do this.”

The two agents got off to a rough start when Tiesi joined the show in Season 6, with Chelsea admitting that she found Tiesi’s romantic relationship with Nick Cannon “pretty repulsive.” Tiesi shares son Legendary Love, 2, with Cannon, who is also the father of 11 other children.

To make matters even more mysterious, the trailer teases Agent Nicole Young holding onto some juicy information that could seemingly cause some serious damage among her co-workers.
“I heard information that could really affect families, marriages,” she says as agent Amanza Smith is seen shaking her head.

Last season, Young clashed with Stause, calling her a “terrible person” after Stause accused Young of “redoing her whole face.” She also fell out with agent Emma Hernan (Stause’s close friend) after she called her a “social climber”.
Despite the messy history of the agents, they don’t seem to be digging into the past in the trailer.

Another point of interest from Season 7 that fans might pick up on is Tiesi’s threat to leave the Oppenheim Group for good after she was unhappy with the commission split and claimed that Chelsea was trying to “fuck” her clients.
“I need you back,” Oppenheim Group president Jason Oppenheim tells Tiesio in the trailer.
The scene then cuts to a fed-up Tiesi looking directly into the camera and saying, “Get that camera out of my face, I swear.”
