Simone Biles is celebrating the progress of her renovation project.
On Thursday, Biles, 26, shared a new update on how construction is progressing on the new home she and husband Jonathan Owens are building in Texas.
She said last month that some of the problems were discovered during the second day of what she called a “clean-up walk.”
Since then, Biles has been sharing exciting new updates on her Instagram, showing off photos of trim, baseboards, doors and cabinets. She began a series of Instagram Story posts with a snapshot of her front door and foyer under construction with the caption “😍😍😍😍.”

Biles also posted a photo of the cabinet frame. “Trim has begun,” she wrote.

She then shared a short video of the build. “This makes me so happy,” she captioned a video of herself scrolling through a large closet with shelf and cabinet frames.

The next photo was a shot of the two entrances and their matching floorboards. “Doors and footboards EEEEPPPP,” she captioned the Instagram Story.

Biles’ previous updates on her home renovations were a little more discouraging, but the Olympic gold medalist didn’t give too many details about what caused the delay. In a series of Instagram stories from November 29, she shared that some problems had been discovered, causing her to stay at the construction site for six hours.
“I thought it was going to last 30 minutes, and I had no idea what I was getting into,” she captioned the video, which played across the high ceilings in the house.
Biles added that her dad and husband could have helped her.
“Yesterday I called my dad for backup before I panicked! but I’ve made so much progress and I’m so proud of myself,” she wrote. “jonathan will deal with the bottom line oops……..hope i did it decently and thought everything through.”

In early September, Biles revealed that she and Owens were in Texas to visit their new home, which was in the early stages of construction at the time.
In a simple caption on Instagram, the Olympic gold medalist wrote: “Loading… 🏠🤍🛠.”

She shared three photos, the first of which showed the gymnast looking away as she sat on the steps while the wooden frame could be seen around her and the concrete floors were exposed. She also included a picture of Owens walking through the construction site and a photo of her holding his hand as they stood outside the building.
