Simone Biles Shares Makeup-Free Selfie from Bed as She Ditches Paris Olympics Glam for Return Home

Simone Biles is easy after the Olympics.

The gymnast — who took home three gold medals and one silver at the Paris Games — shared a makeup-free selfie from bed after returning to the US. The natural look is a departure from the glamorous beauty routine she espoused for the competition.

On Monday, August 12, the 27-year-old athlete took to Instagram Stories to announce that she was back home and resting after her impressive Olympic performance. I’ve never been so happy, she wrote over a photo of her naked and curled up in bed.

Biles also revealed that she had a lot of fun after the closing ceremony on Sunday, August 11.

She shared two IGS videos from L’Arc Paris nightclub with the caption “The reason why I’m not feeling well this morning.” After posting a photo from her plane of her return to the US, Biles shared another clip from her night out dancing and singing along to Waka Flocka Flame’s “Grove St. Party.”

“If you see me out at the club, tell me I’m going home in the morning for myself and my health,” the Olympian wrote, adding a crying and laughing emoji.

At the closing ceremony, Biles had the honor of carrying the Olympic flag. She appeared on stage at the Stade de France and was joined by Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass as part of the transition from the Paris Olympics to the 2028 Los Angeles Games.

Ahead of the all-around final (in which she would win the gold medal), Biles shared a save-up video on TikTok, breaking down her beauty routine for the competition. In addition to walking through the exact products she uses, the athlete also revealed a recent accident with Botox.

“I have a funny story for you,” she began. “So, for my 27th birthday, I got botox, like, baby botox, right here in my T-zone, and I didn’t like it. I didn’t get it again, and that was back in March.”

She explained that one of her eyebrows would raise on its own while she was training, which her fellow gymnasts would point out, and she couldn’t get it to go down for nearly 20 seconds.

Now, Biles continued, frowning, she can do “all the facials [expressions].”

“I won’t do it again,” she said of the cosmetic procedure.
