The NFL safety played six seasons in the league, although this was his first with the Packers

Simone Biles and her husband Jonathan Owens are wasting no time enjoying themselves during the football offseason!

On Friday, the Olympic medalist, 26, posted a boomerang on her Instagram story of the couple toasting. Biles held a purple drink in her manicured hand as she clinked glasses with Owens, 28, who appeared to be drinking a margarita. Owens stared at the camera in a gray shirt.

“Cheers to the offseason,” Biles captioned the video, adding a white heart and crossed fingers emoji.

Simone Biles’ husband Jonathan Owens says he ‘had no idea’ who she was before they met

Biles’ post came less than a week after Owens, a safety for the Green Bay Packers, lost a playoff game to the San Francisco 49ers, ending their quest for a Super Bowl title this year. But Biles was a proud wife nonetheless, cheering her husband on from the sidelines of Levi’s Stadium in California last Saturday. The couple shared a kiss that was caught on camera.

After the Packers’ tough 21-24 loss, the gymnast shared a loving Instagram post with words of encouragement for Owens.

“It’s been a terrible season and there’s so much to be proud of,” Biles wrote to Owens, captioning the video of the two kissing. “I’m so proud of the work you put in and the confidence you exude through your plays. I love you Jonathan! Another happy and healthy football season in the books 🀞🏾.”
