Sir Tom Jones reignites 40 year feud with music rival by snubbing his offer of a truce and calling him a ‘p***k’

SINGER Sir Tom Jones has still fallen out with his rival Engelbert after 40 years – calling him a “p***k”.

The pair have been feuding for decades and Sir Tom has rejected Humperdinck’s offer of a truce.

The Voice coach, 84, insisted: “There’s nothing friendly about me and Engelbert because he’s a f*** you can quote me on that. We had a falling out years ago.”

Asked if he would be seeing him during his upcoming UK tour, It’s Not Unusual and Sex Bomb singer Sir Tom replied: “No. He tried, but I don’t want to talk.”

In February, Engelbert, the Release Me balladeer, told The Sun on Sunday he thought Sir Tom had “lost his voice”.

He added: “I don’t think he’s gone.”

The Welsh lothario shot back: “I didn’t know he said that – first time I’ve heard of it, but he’s full of s**t.”

The two stars shared the same manager and appeared together in Humperdinck’s pilot show in 1969.

Although the cause of the long-running rift is unknown, Sir Tom’s alleged ex-lover Charlotte Laws claimed that Engelbert flirted with her in 1979.

In 2015, Sir Tom said of Humperdinck: “Once acalways ac.”
