Christine Brown and David Woolley are delighted, but her family can’t help but notice a few similarities between him and her ex-husband Kody Brown.
In Sunday’s episode on October 20 Sister wivesChristine revealed about her then-boyfriend David while spending quality time with her children.
When she asked the group for their “first impressions” of her new man, she got rave reviews from her kids. Christine’s daughter True called him “ridiculous” and said she agreed with him, while her other daughter Mykelti’s husband Antonio “Tony” Padron admitted: “He reminds me of Kody.”

“Well he must be of the same generation,” Tony explained after Mykelti asked for clarification. “[He said] all this boomer stuff I had no idea what he was talking about.”
His comments sparked a stir, but he defended his stance as her children asked if they were in the same “generation”.
In a confessional interview, Christine (52) reacted to her family’s “boomer” comments.
“My mom is a boomer,” she pointed out. When she asked the producers if David fell under the age limit to qualify, they broke the news that he technically met the criteria based on his year of birth.

“So David is a boomer and my mom is a boomer,” Christine said in disbelief. “David is eight years older than me—eight.”
The mum-of-six told her children she was “constantly” teased about his age. When Mykelti suggested she “tease him more” if they were still together when David turned 60, Christine replied with a proud smile: “I guarantee we will.”
After our first date, I knew it was something I really wanted to invest in, she said in front of the cameras. “My children, it will be too soon for them, but it is important for me to know how my children feel about David. But however they feel, it will not break my bond with David.”
As Christine predicted, she and David ended up happily ever after.

The couple went public with their relationship in February 2023, shortly after she split from Kody in November 2021. At the time, Kody was also married to Meri, Robyn, and Janelle.
Christine and David became engaged in April 2023 in Utah and were married in October of that year at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah.
“It’s a fairytale,” she told PEOPLE of their wedding at the time. “That’s all I thought I’d have. I go to the altar to David, he just looks at me the way he does, it’s a dream come true.”

Earlier this month, Christine celebrated her first wedding anniversary with David by paying tribute to their love story in a post shared on Instagram.
“Happy anniversary @david__woolley God I love you,” she captioned the touching carousel of memories. “Having you as a partner has been amazing. I feel so blessed to be married to you and look forward to the rest of our lives together.”
