Sister Wives’ Christine Would Have Adamantly ‘Rejected’ an ‘Olive Branch’ from Robyn: ‘I Don’t Trust Her’

Christine Brown and Robyn Brown are open about their complicated relationship – or lack thereof.

The heads of the Brown family addressed the beginnings of tension between them during Sunday’s episode Sister wives. At the same time, the conversation turned specifically to the problems between Christina and Robyn.

Sister’s Wife’s Christine says Kody kept Meri around for ‘years’ and stopped making ‘rooms’ for Janelle

The two TLC personalities differ on the amount of time Kody has spent in each of the wives’ homes, with Christine claiming that Kody prioritized Robyn, and Robyn suggesting that’s just “assumption.”

The issue caused tension between the pair, with Christine insisting she can’t “trust someone who says they want a family and yet they’re fine with Kody just being in their house.”

“I always thought she would eventually open up to me,” Robyn, 44, told Meri Brown, 52. “You know, figure out those things. You know, figure out whatever her problem is. I’ve tried it’s really hard to be nice to her.”

Robyn told the cameras at the time that she was “constantly extending an olive branch to Christine, constantly wanting a relationship, constantly trying to ask, ‘What can I do?'” But Christine, 51, reportedly only ever said he was “just jealous” of Kody’s fourth wife.

“So many times Christine and I had such a good time,” Robyn continued through tears. “I feel like we really had the potential to just have a great relationship, but I never understood why we couldn’t. And I just don’t know how to come to terms with the heartbreak of that.”

But Christine felt justified in not wanting to be intimate with Robyn.

“[When the family lived] in Vegas we all did counseling together. All adults. In the therapy sessions, I was very direct and stated the problem specifically [Kody] she loves Robyn more and she’d rather be at Robyn’s house than anywhere else,” Christine said in the confessional. “She would just deny it and just say, ‘He’s not here.’ And he would say, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m the same with you.’ And I said, ‘No, you didn’t. No you did not.'”

Christine continued: “If she was bothered by not having a relationship with me, she should have said, ‘Hey, why don’t we have a relationship? Can we be friends? But I want you to know, I would have rejected her friendship anyway, to be completely honest. honest with you.”

Christine added for emphasis, “Because I couldn’t believe her.”

Christine also called Kody out for suggesting that she wasn’t a good sister to her now ex-husband’s three other wives.

“I was a kind wife to Janelle [Brown]. Meri, not so much. But I don’t think he cares about Meri. He’s basically saying I’m not interested in a relationship with you because you’re not the best sister to Robyn,” Christine said in the confessional. “Hmm, who had a great relationship with Robyn for years, but he wasn’t attracted to her? Oh yes, that would be Mary. It’s full of shit, I’m sorry. That’s funny.”

Kody, 54, didn’t object, saying in a separate confessional that “it was never really about Robyn, it was about her whole experience of being in a polygamous marriage with other wives.”

Robyn is now Kody’s only wife after Christine, Janelle and Meri left him in less than two years. The ongoing family conflict has been the centerpiece of the TLC show’s 18th season, which begins to show the breakdown of Kody’s marriages to first wife Meri and second wife Janelle, 54, as he enters a dark place.
