Sister Wives’ Meri on Why Everyone’s Lots on Coyote Pass Are ‘Different Sizes’ and Christine’s Solution to the Problem

Meri Brown explains why lot sizes are different at Coyote Pass – with a little help from Christine Brown!

In the episode from Friday Sister wivesthe show’s stars answered fans’ questions about the living arrangements of a blended family.

“Why are the Coyote Pass lots different sizes?” asked a viewer during Sister Wives Strike Back: Part 2. “Seems it would be fair to do all the same?”

After reading the question aloud, Meri explained that the group “bought them in lots of different sizes.”

“That’s how they came,” she added.

The scene then cut to Christine, 51, who offered a helpful solution: “How about they get a surveyor to divide it into four lots? Because inequality is where it’s at.”

The Flagstaff, Ariz., estate began with lots of land that fit multiple homes, and that’s where the Browns — who also include Janelle Brown and Robyn Brown — developed so they could live close to each other.

While all four women were polygamous with husband Kody Brown, three of them Sister wives the patriarch’s marriages failed within 14 months. His third wife, Christine, left first in November 2021. A year later, in December 2022, it was revealed that Kody was separating from his second wife, Janelle. His union with his first wife Meri ended by January 2023.

“We got to the property. We’re starting to get things ready for this next summer and I remember how much I love it here,” Janelle, 54, said in an April 2022 selfie video she shared on Instagram while checking out the undeveloped with her son, Garrison Brown territory. “I was in the city in the winter and I love the city. But, for God’s sake – and I forgot what it’s like here.”

However, sometimes things don’t go according to plan.

In the episode of the series in November Sister wivesMeri shared her uncertainty about whether she saw a future living in Coyote Pass.

While talking to Robyn, 45, and Kody, 54, in one scene, she admitted that she was spending more time in Utah focusing on her LuLaRoe clothing business and her bed and breakfast, Lizzie’s Heritage Inn, which she felt needed her presence.

Meri added that losing her mother “along with everything else that’s been going on and the statements that Kody has made to me this year” means she “probably” won’t be renewing her lease in Arizona.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Kody reflected on the failure of three of his four marriages.

“Each of us has our own struggle with the reality of this experience,” he said. “Each of us is struggling with the fact that we’ve been together for years and now we’re unhappy enough to say we can’t deal with this anymore.”

Other highlights of Friday’s episode included Kody saying he thinks his and Meri’s relationship is “reconcilable,” and Meri saying they’ll start dating again “eventually.”
