The Sister wives The star, 52, enters the new year with a completely new hairstyle. The layered look sits just above her shoulders and breaks away from her traditional brown locks by boasting a hint of red.

Using a quote from Coco Chanel to explain the reason for the transformation, Brown revealed the hairstyle on Instagram, writing in the caption: “A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life.” She also added “Worthy up” as a hashtag.

In August, the reality TV personality reflected on the transformative year she’s had since splitting from her husband of 32 years, Kody Brown, in a lengthy Instagram post.

“This year has been a season of change for me,” she began. “Time to look inside, decide what I am now, what I am no longer. Time to cherish the past and the memories it keeps, and at the same time let go and reach for my future.”

Brown wrote that she was focused on exploring “new things, new places, new people, new environments” and was ready to create an “updated version” of herself.

The rumination comes months after she officially announced their split in early January, saying that “after decades of working on our relationship in our own unique ways,” the two have decided to call it quits permanently.

In November, she encouraged her followers on social media to focus on their goals as the new year approaches.
