Smriti Mandana was just 9 years old when she was selected to play for the Maharashtra U-15 team at the regional level. In 2007, at the age of 11, she played for the Maharashtra U-19 cricket team. Smriti Mandhana made her debut against England Women at Walmsley on 13 August 2014. She made her one-day international debut on 10 April 2013 against Bangladesh Women in Ahmedabad. She made her T2o debut on 5 April 2013 in England’s Women’s match against Bangladesh. In February 2023, she was sold with the highest bid at the inaugural WPL auction; Royal Challengers Bangalore bought her for Rs 34 crore.

- In 2013, the selectors named her in the international squad to capitalize on her heroic batting style and tremendous performances in domestic cricket.
- In 2013, she became the first Indian woman to score a double ton in a single-day event. In the U-19 tournament, she smashed 224 off just 150 balls in the West Zone.
- She scored 3 centuries and scored a total of 192 runs, becoming the highest run-scorer in the 2016 Women’s Challenger Trophy.
- She became one of the first two Indians to sign up for the Women’s Big Bash League after Brisbane Heat signed up to play in the Women’s Big Bash League in 2017. Harmanpreet Kaur is another.
