“I’m only saying this because people are still commenting on my tiktok saying how happy I look with it and ‘just wait little baby’ and stuff, and I really can’t take it anymore. I’m really sorry,” the grieving parent explained the reason why she spoke up.
Salt posted a similar message on her TikTok account.
In the clip, she faced the camera and filmed herself covering her face while appearing to cry. Over the post, she wrote: “I’m sorry, there’s nothing else we can do.”
“I knew he was dead, but there was a part of me that really thought I was going to wake him up,” Salt captioned the upload.
Her comments section was filled with messages of support.
“We are all with you, Veruca. Take all the time you need ❤️,” said one user. Another wrote: “I’ve never cried harder for a woman I don’t know, I’m so sorry Veruca, the love you have for him never goes unnoticed 🫶🏽.”
The new mom documented her pregnancy, sharing sweet videos months before Cash was born.
Salt gave her followers a glimpse of the boy just a day after he arrived.
“I experienced the purest form of love because the world didn’t end when I was 17,” she wrote alongside a clip of her hugging a toddler while wrapped in blankets.
“I barely slept before I can’t stop staring at him 😭,” she captioned the post in December.
According to News.com.au, Salt has been a sex worker since she was 18 and previously said she turned to OnlyFans to help with her financial situation.

Queensland Police confirmed they were called to the Southport unit at 6:13am on Monday, News.com.au reports. The preliminary investigation did not result in the child’s death being considered suspicious.
“It is still under investigation and we are awaiting the results of the post mortem,” Gold Coast Police Superintendent Craig Hanlon said. “It’s obviously a tragic situation and our hearts go out to the mother and the family.”
Days before his death, Salt posted on TikTok that Cash was going to his “first trip to the hospital” because he hadn’t “pooped in seven days.”
