SZA Says She ‘Was Scared’ to Speak to Beyoncé at the 2024 Grammys: ‘I Don’t Want to Bother Her’

Even SZA is part of the BeyHive.

The “Kill Bill” singer shared with E! News that she was too excited to talk to Beyoncé at the 2024 Grammys.

“I was afraid to go to Beyoncé,” admitted SZA (34).

“I can’t talk unless she wants to talk, in my brain, because I don’t want to bother her. She looked so calm and beautiful,” SZA continued. “I simply admire her. She is a master class in poise, grace, artistry, beauty and kindness.”

Although the singer of the song “Snooze” did not meet the 32-time Grammy winner (42), she met the husband of the native Houstonian – and winner Dr. Dre Global Impact Awards 2024 – JAY-Z, 54
