Sofia Richie's $1,290 Ballet Shoes Are a Stylish Mom Hack for Keeping Daughter Eloise Entertained on the Go

Multitask in mom mode, but keep it chic.

6-month-old Eloise Sofia Richie Grainge has an eye for style just like her mother.

In an Instagram Stories photo shared by 26-year-old model Eloise, who she shares with husband Elliot Grainge, on Thursday, December 26, she can be seen reaching for one of her mom’s designer flats.

“Wear shoes that will entertain your child,” she captioned the photo, adding a green checkered emoji.

The image was a close-up of Richie Grainge’s foot raised as Eloise’s small hand reached for it as the family sat outside, waves from the beach crashing against the shore in the distance.

The model wore white ballet flats in strass lambskin with brass and acrylic embellishments by Alaïa, inspired by classic Japanese shoes. According to the luxury brand’s website, the Italian-made rubber-soled shoes — also available in black — retail for $1,290.

Eloise has learned a lot about style since her arrival in May.

Earlier this month, Richie Grainge shared a carousel on Instagram recapping recent precious moments.

“Just a little fun 🫶🏼🥹🫠,” she captioned the photos – one of which showed the baby holding her black, quilted Chanel bag with gold details. She held the bag tightly as her mother held her.

But Eloise doesn’t just like designer clothes, she also has luxury gadgets.

During the November 14 episode Therapuss podcast, Richie Grainge told host Jake Shane that her daughter has her own “little baby phone.”

“Eloise has a little baby phone that we can text, or I like to text,” Shane said, adding, “I say, ‘Good morning, Eloise!’ ”

The podcast host joked that he and the 6-month-old were having their own conversations.

“I said, ‘Eloise, do you mind if me and your mom talk about how perfect you are on the podcast today?’ And she said, ‘No, keep my name out of your mouth.’ And I said, ‘Eloise, excuse me.’ She said, ‘I hate you,'” Shane said.

Richie Grainge playfully assured Shane that she and Eloise “had a chat,” though he countered by teasing that “Eloise’s got a bit of an attitude.”

Last month the girls celebrated Grainge’s 31st birthday with a sweet tribute to the first father.

“Best dad 🥹,” the model wrote in one of several Instagram Stories posts on Nov. 6. The picture shows the Atlantic Records executive reading a children’s book How to spot a unicorn while Eloise was nestled between his arms.

Grainge and Richie Grainge were married in April 2023.
