Elliot Grainge may be married to a fashionable IT girl, but he’s not keen on some of the latest trends.

Loewe’s Toy Pants boots? That will be a no.

While Elliot, 30, and wife Sofia Richie Grainge, 25, were Christmas shopping, the two came across the boots, and needless to say, the music director was not amused (unlike us – we’re very amused by his reaction).

“Looks like a rich duck would wear that,” he says in the video as he approaches the brown heeled boots. “The very rich duck to which all the ducks quack.”

As Sofia records, she can’t help but keep saying, “Oh,” in response to his increasingly angry statements about the shoes, which are made to look like heeled trouser pockets. She tells him that his duck comparison is “profound,” but Elliot still isn’t done eloquently describing said boot.

“It’s a thick, baggy leather jean, blinded, with a boot heel,” he says, listing all the descriptions he can seem to think of. Apparently living with a fashion professional has paid off because he’s got exactly what this boot is.

“You know fashion has gone too far when they put something like this out,” he says finally before turning his back on the boot, not wanting to give it any more of his attention.

As Sofia tells her millions of followers, her husband “doesn’t like” trendy Loewe shoes. She captioned the funny snap: “Remind me not to take Elliot Christmas shopping again.”

These holidays will be the first for Sofia and Elliot as a married couple. The two were married in April in Antibes, France. Sofia wore three Chanel dresses to the wedding, which her stylist called “timeless and classic.”

For the rehearsal dinner, she wore a beaded dress with a high neck and long sleeves with beaded ruffles at the center and bottom of the dress. She then changed into her wedding dress for the ceremony, which featured a criss-cross neckline with several white sequins and beads sewn into the fabric in a classic leaf design. The dress also has an important detail: “S&E” with the date underneath (to mark Richie’s something blue for the wedding).

For the after party, she wore a short, simple and structured dress with the legendary Chanel camellia in the center of the chest.

The model also wowed her husband in the episode Vogue’s 11 p.m series in July. “I feel so relaxed,” explained Richie Grainge. “I feel like I’m finally in a place where I can breathe and just relax with my husband. Being married is the best.”

She continued: “I’m obsessed with Elliot,” adding that “when we’re together, it’s just calm and quiet.”
