Jamie Vardy is the oldest player to win the Golden Boot.
Jamie Vardy began his senior career with Stocksbridge Park Steels when he was sixteen. In 2010, he joined National Premier League side FC Halifax Town, where he scored 25 goals and earned the club’s ‘Player of the Year’ title during his first season. In May 2012, he joined Leicester City in the Championship and helped the team win the title in 2014. During the 2019-20 season, he even won the Premier League Golden Boot, becoming the oldest player to do so.

However, in order to reach that level of achievement, he had to overcome his monstrous habit of alcohol addiction. According to Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, Leicester’s vice-chairman, he was at the club under severe circumstances of drunkenness. They trained him in his hungover state during his early days at the club. However, when the president helped him figure out what he wanted from his life, he stopped drinking and focused on achieving his goal.
Life in a twice-failed marriage
Sofia’s mother was married twice before marrying Jamie. According to The Sun, due to her traumatic past, she made a few mistakes and hung out with some real snakes before meeting Jamie. She initially married electrician Mark Godden, but the marriage lasted barely six months. She had one child with him, Megan, before divorcing. She then spent six years with Luke Foster, a former Oxford United player. But she divorced him while he was in prison for killing two people in a car accident.

Taylor is her son by him. Jamie, her current husband, was previously married to Emma Daggett, with whom he had a child, Ella Vardy. Thanks to their marriage, Rebekah and Jamie have three children, including Sofia. The couple enjoy married life in an eight-bedroom house in Lincolnshire with their children.
A classy wedding attended by famous music stars
The wedding of her parents, Jamie and Rebekah Vardy, took place on May 25, 2016. Jamie met Rebekah while she was working as a party promoter in a nightclub. Jamie hired her to organize his birthday party in 2014 after he completed it. The couple married after two years of dating and had their first child, Sofia.
The couple planned a formal wedding at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire. Clara, a singer from the United States, and her husband Russell Wilson chose the place. Jamie’s wife suffered from depression and had been in treatment for years for her horrific past. When she was only 12 years old, she was sexually abused. It was too much for such a little girl. Rebekah was abused and became a victim of such heinous behavior by her family members. She was distraught when her family refused to support her efforts to get justice. Her mother made her withdraw her police statement and convinced her not to pursue the matter further. Jamie’s wife was on the verge of suicide because of this heinous event.
