Gautam Kumar, son of a daily wage earner from Masaurhi, Bihar, is the only Indian student selected from among 20 young leaders from around the world for the Hansen Leadership Program, 2023 in California, USA. The 20-year-old from a BPL family was selected to participate in a fully funded leadership program for a month.

About the Program
The Hansen Leadership Program is hosted by the University of San Diego, California. The program brings together and trains future leaders from around the world to promote world peace and international cooperation. Hansen will cover the entire cost of Gautam including round-trip airfare, accommodation, domestic transportation, health insurance, visa fees, etc. as part of the program.
Gautam is cared for by Dexterity Global. He is an alumnus of Dex School using Dexterity Global’s leadership development program and Dexterity to College, the organization’s career development program. Two years ago, he was accepted into Ashoka University on a full scholarship as a Dexterity Scholar for the University. He is currently in his second year of Computer Science.
Speaking of being accepted into the leadership program, Gautam said that he is delighted and extremely grateful to Dexterity Global for being the driving force behind his successful journey. He added that the organization prepared him to overcome obstacles and make a difference, and without their guidance and training, he would not have had this great opportunity. . He also mentioned his determination to make the most of the opportunity to learn, grow and make a positive impact.
